So, summer is here right?

The one thing that all my friends keep saying is - "i want to be on a boat!' - after being a boat owner - I know now that it's just better to rent one.  The two happiest days in a boat owners life are the day you buy it and the day you sell it!  Well, thanks to my friends up at Lake Lanier Islands Resort - I can just rent one and I did just that this weekend!

I headed up I-985 on Friday to broadcast live at Sunset Cove to get the weekend started and I will tell you what - It never stopped.  My son and I checked into the awesome Lodge for a weekend of fun, sun and boating.    The resort was jam packed with weddings, the Iron Girl race and families just looking for a get away.  Do yourself a favor and go check it out for yourself.  You won't be disappointed. 

Make sure you go and see D over at Harbor Landing and get yourself one of the new pontoon boats they have for rent.  So much fun for me and my boy as well as the friends that joined us.  I won't get into all the details but I will say that the weekend was a blast.   My son is begging for our next trip already!
