Isn't it great when you can balance everything?  Not that I'm an expert at it at all but this weekend turned out to be the perfect balancing act up at Lake Lanier Islands Resort.  Time with my buddies, time on the beach and most importantly, time with my Number 1 - My son! 

Have you spent any time up on the lake yet?  If not, do it, before summer is over.  I know, it seems like it's a long way away but think about it - It's less than 5 weeks until most schools are back in session - so get off your butt and get it done and do me a favor.  Include Lake Lanier Islands Resort on your TO DO LIST!

So here's how it shook down for me this weekend....Friday broadcast from Sunset Cove!  Perfect evening to get things started.  My boys and I took a stroll into downtown Buford, got in a little trouble then headed back to the resort to stay at the Lake House for the weekend.

Woke up, hit Windows at the resort for breakfast and headed to Harbour Landing to pick up a Pontoon boat for the day.  Loaded that thing up with a cooler and headed out.  It was a perfect day on the lake and I got back in time to chill for the evening with the little man.  The little man and I did the exact same thing on Sunday, with the exception of beer and random cuties in bikinis.  I do have SOME class - Jeez!

My point is not to brag, but to let you know, if you don't - that you can have it all up there.  This summer is almost half way over for some people.  Get out and get on the lake and build those memories that you can never forget!!
