Is there anything better then fall – especially in Georgia?? I tend to think not. The weather is the best – the vibe is the best – the smell in the air….
Think about it for a minute. From football games in Athens or at the Dome, playoff baseball at The Ted, Oktoberfest in Helen, the leaves changing in the North Georgia Mountains, weekend festivals or fairs, from the North Georgia Fair to the Chili Cook-Off to the River’s Rock n’ Rib Fest. Fall is where it is at and Georgia is the place to enjoy it!!!
Every weekend in October has something to offer if you’re willing to take part. I hit up the Sweetwater State Park yesterday to enjoy the beginning of a fabulous month. I have options to leave Georgia this month but why would I??
Sure, Spring is the re-birth. Everything is new again and the festival season REALLY kicks off in April and May but October is where it’s at!
I couldn’t be more excited for what October and the rest of this season has to offer. Shoot – I’m excited about the rest of the year – What about you? What do love the most about Fall in Georgia??
