It's here!  The first big weekend of the summer.  The kids are out of school and now it's time to PARTY!!!  Right?  I have always been a fan of tradition.  You know, that thing that you and fanily do EVERY year at the same time.  Whether it be Christmas time, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day or the 4th of July.   See, I never had that.  It always seemed to be something different or last minute rather than the same thing. 

My ex-wife takes my son EVERY year to her home town to spend the 4th of July - A great tradition that I'm so excited that he gets to experience - I on the other hand seem to screw it up every year - HA!  I began a tradition of camping during the Memorial Day weekend but it's typically just he and I.  I suppose it's just fine for him but I do hope some day that I will be able to establish something a little more of substance for him.
