Memorial Day weekend is always a great weekend for Rock Radio.  Often times, your favorite radio station or stations will spend the weekend giving you the best programming possible in hopes that you crank it up while boating, camping, cooking out and hanging with the family and this year is no exception.

Kaedy and I are putting together the basics of the list and boy is it tough.  Just this weekend, I was watching the Induction ceremony for the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame and there where The Faces jamming out Stay With Me.  Now this song is the ultimate classic rock song and wouldn't you know it - it wasn't on the list.  Well, it is now.

I mean think about the task of coming up with the 500 BEST rock and roll songs ever.  For all the ones that make it, there are a few that won't.   Remember that movie "High Fidelity" where John Cusack would say "Top Five....GO!" - The pressure of coming up with just five is tough enough.  Making sure that you've got the five songs that move you the most.
