In case you haven't heard - Mick Jagger is hosting the season finale of "Saturday Night Live" this coming Saturday Night and with that comes a nice little rumor.

Speculation is that the Rolling Stones may perform live on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

Unconfirmed reports on the Stones forum iorr.org are that the band is rehearsing in New York City in preparation for this gig.

According to a posting on iorr.org, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts were rehearsing yesterday with keyboard player Chuck Leavell and producer Don Was on bass.

It appears that maybe the Rolling Stones worked on the classics - ‘Fool To Cry’, ‘Jumping Jack Flash’ and ‘Miss You’.

It also surfaces as a UK newspaper posted a Rolling Stones concert in Berlin for September 1 on its website on the weekend. The advertisement also listed an authentic Aerosmith date for July 3.

The Rolling Stones are yet to confirm any 50th anniversary live dates. While they formed in April, 1962, Keith Richards marks January for their anniversary because Charlie Watts joined in January, 1963.
