Concert Season is upon us! By Dave Clapper
Each year about this time, the local concert promoters start telling us what we can expect for what tends to be called "concert season!" Our concert season in Atlanta is almost always March through November with a few concerts sprinkled in throughout the winter and to be honest - last year was a bit of a disappointment. Well kids - we won't be disappointed this year. That's for sure.
So far we've got: Moody Blues, Bruce Springsteen, Van Halen, Tom Petty and Roger Waters. This does not included the rumurored Eagles 40th Anniversary tour, yet another year of Rush and the triple threat bill of REO, Styx and Ted Nugent. This "concert season" is already shaping up to be one to remember...My only issue is - I can't afford them all. If I had to choose one it would be Roger Water -- What would YOU choose??
Clapper is actually my real name - granted - it's my LAST name and I was born with a Radio name and some might say "the perfect FACE for radio too!
