Caught on tape: Suspected illegal immigrants crash boat onto beach
A boat apparently carrying undocumented immigrants crashed ashore in San Clemente on Monday, according to a cell phone video of the incident.
The video shows people jumping out and running onto the beach after the boat made a hard landing on the beach. There were seven or eight people aboard, authorities said.
Later, lifeguards arrived followed by Orange County deputies, who chased the people who ran away.
