Reece here inviting you to a special edition of The DEEP RIVER MUSIC VAULT this Sunday.

Well yes,  they’re all special. But here’s what’s up for September, 23, our 15th show:

Will the film footage taken  42 years ago at the 2nd Atlanta Pop Festival in Byron, GA ever see the light of day?

We’ll tell you where it stands now and revisit “The Great Lost Rock Festival” in The Deep River Music Vault

Hendrix played that same festival – his largest US audience of nearly half a million, shortly before his untimely death,

42 years ago this week.  We’ll pay tribute along with you, to Jimi Hendrix  this Sunday night.

And Atlanta’s own blues guitar master on Alligator records,  Tinsley Ellis, has a great gig coming up:

Sat. the 29th, TINSLEY ELLIS headlines the Sean Costello Memorial Fund 3rd Annual Roots and Blues Benefit @ the North Atlanta High Center for the Arts on Northside Dr. more info:   seancostellofund.org

Our Atlanta Moment will feature Tinsley Ellis and Mother's Finest (playing Wild Bill's in Duluth, GA, 9-28 )

Hope you’ll make a date, Sunday night @ 8, to turn on The DEEP RIVER MUSIC VAULT.
