Billy Powell, keyboard player for Lynyrd Skynyrd, dies at the age of 56 from a suspected heart attack in Florida (2009).

Elvis Presley makes his very first appearance on national television on “The Dorsey Brothers Stage Show” on CBS (1956).

Ted Nugent autographs a fan’s arm with a bowie knife, at the fan’s request (1978).

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours album hits #1 on the UK album chart and in the US (1978).
