Led Zeppelin perform in front of a crowd of 25,000 at the Western Springs Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand. This concert is the very first performance in New Zealand (and the largest crowd ever to attend a concert on the island) (1972).
Bob Seger wins a Grammy for Best Rock performance for “Against the Wind” and Pat Benatar wins Best Female performance for “Crimes of Passion” (1981).
