Peter Criss of KISS is born (1945).

At George Harrison’s older brother’s wedding, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George perform as The Quarry Men (1958).

The Rolling Stones hit #1 on the UK album chart with Let It Bleed, which featured the singles “Midnight Rambler” and “You Can’t Always Get what you Want” (1969).

Just 12 days after Lennon was shot and killed, his single “(Just Like) Starting Over” becomes the Former Beatle’s first ever UK solo #1 single (1980).

Guy Babylon, keyboards with Elton John Band, is born (1956).
