We'll think of a creative name for these, we promise.
The MAC released their players of the week yesterday in Ohio's Maurice Ndour and Toledo's Julius Brown. We agree with one, while we go in a different direction with the other.
It's hard to argue with the MAC's choice here. Ndour was a beast this week scoring 23 against Valpo and grabbing nine boards against Ohio State. For someone with a limited basketball background, this is quite a feat. Ndour is going to be a beast in MAC play with the way he plays the game. I'm sure this won't be the last time you see him in this space. Jim Christian found himself a good one.

It's a tough call, but we're going to go with Shayne Whittington of Western Michigan. After being suspended for the first two games in Hawaii, Whittington just lit it up as you can see below. Whittington is one of the best players in Bronco basketball history and has started out the season in great fashion. He's had two straight double-doubles and collected seventeen rebounds in the last game against Alabama A&M. If he can keep that pace up, he's got a shot at MAC Player of the Year.
