The breakout band of 2013, Nico Vega announce a summer co-headlining tour with Crash Kings and new album, Lead To Light. Beginning July 11th in San Diego, the US trek will make stops in over 25 cities through mid August (Please see below for a list of announced dates). The intimate run comes fresh off the band’s support slot on Imagine Dragons’ sold-out 50-city tour, giving Nico Vega fans a shot at up close performances. Nico Vega will also be gearing up to release their new full-length album, Lead To Light. With a release date to be announced, the album will be available for pre-sale this Friday along with additional VIP bundle packages for the tour including handwritten lyrics, signed set lists, band designed artwork, concert experiences with the band and more. Earlier this year, Nico Vega released their new EP, Fury Oh Fury (Five Seven Music), which features the unexpected hit, “Beast.” The anthemic song was featured in the trailer for the most highly anticipated video game of the year, BioShock Infinite and went on to top Spotify’s viral charts and Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart. The press took notice and lavished their praise with Billboard describing it as a “…grungy breakout single…whips up ear-blistering riffs and presents pounding tom-toms" and NYLON saying “The LA rocking band mean business…" The official video for the song can be viewed here
