Teen JAM is an exciting new teen leadership program for 9th - 11th graders, infused with Jewish values, social activism, and mitzvah projects. Through this program, teens will challenge themselves to rebuild their community through volunteerism and community service. Teen JAM fellows will address issues facing the Atlanta community by engaging them in critical analysis and reflection while developing a sense of responsibility and empowerment to change the world. Throughout the program, teens will develop their leadership, communication and community building skills.
Teen JAM fellows will attend monthly leadership development sessions, participate in hands-on service projects, and learn how to strategically plan and implement meaningful and powerful social action programs for J-Serve, the annual teen mitzvah day on Sunday, April 27, 2014.
