There is no doubt that Atlanta-based Heather Luttrell has a lot of soul. Her genre-busting mix of blues and Americana, which she calls "BluesAmericanaFunkFolk," has been captivating fans since 2002, when she released her first album, "Drive It Like You Stole It." Since then, Luttrell has built a loyal following with her soulful vocals, energetic guitar playing, bring the-house-down live shows and, always, a gracious Southern hospitality that makes fans feel like they are family. Her first full-length album "Possumdiva," was released on Redglare Records in late 2012, and features Luttrell, Ralph Luttrell (her father) on the resonator guitar ("Dobro"), drummer/vocalist Craig Henderson, and Emily Kate Boyd. Heather writes much of her own music, often collaborating with Henderson. Luttrell connects with fans of artists as diverse Bonnie Raitt, Patty Griffin, John Prine, and Susan Tedeschi. Heather has toured extensively, and she has shared the stage with Lyle Lovett, Patty Griffin, Buddy Miller, The Indigo Girls, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Georgia Satellites, The Zac Brown Band, Shawn Mullins, Amos Lee, Ryan Adams, and Elton John, to name a few.
