The Measure of a Child Art - Exhibit Saturday, March 9, 2013 - Friday, March 22, 2013 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Southwest Branch Library 3665 Cascade Road, S.W. Atlanta, GA 30331 Google Maps - MapQuestMr. Marcus E. Bishop presents his Painting MFA Thesis Exhibition, The Measure of a Child, a body of work that documents the daily life and activities of children in the Public School System. This documentation depicts the kids that he is around personally and has chosen to capture the positive and innocence of them, despite the real problems and issues these kids face in today's Public School System. Mr. Bishop is a Master of Fine Arts Candiate at Savannah College of Art and Design. The opening reception is Saturday, March 9th from 1:00 p.m .to 5:00 p.m. and the exhibit runs through Friday, March 15, 2013. All programs are free and open to the general public.
