Saturday, April 6th: Join KCHD at the 3rd Annual In the Line of Duty Ride honoring fallen Atlanta police officer Shawn Smiley on Saturday, April 6th. Officer Smiley was killed in a helicopter crash while assisting in the search for a missing nine year old boy on November 3rd, 2012.
Officer Smiley is survived by his wife and three young children. Ages- 5, 7, and 9 years old. All proceeds will go to benefit the Smiley Children College Fund.
Registration begins at 9:00 am, kick stands up at 11:30 am at KCHD and will ride through Cherokee and Forsyth Counties and end back at KCHD for the party. There will be live music by the Asphalt Cowboys, food, drinks, and giveaways including a gun raffle and a 50/50 drawing. Registration is $20 per motorcycle or hot rod.
Ride hosted by the Quad County Roughnecks MC and sponsored by Killer Creek Harley-Davidson and many others.
