The Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra showcases the different sections of the orchestra. Pieces feature strings, winds, and brass, as well as specific instruments. The program includes: - Fanfare for the Common Man, Copland - Fanfare to precede "La Péri," Dukas - Serenade for Strings, Elgar - Serenade for Winds, Strauss - The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, Britten Mirna Ogrizovic and Amy Wilson conduct. All seating is general admission. One child under 12 admitted with each adult ticket purchased. Box office opens at 7:00 p.m.; seating begins at 7:15 p.m. Reception follows concert.
