Food | Wine,
Tonight, we are young... Remember when we were growing up? How to forget those long arms, the eternal clumsiness and that rebellious spirit… Wouldn’t it have been nice to have someone who could’ve helped us navigate those tough times? Someone who have helped us better communicate with our parents and express our frustration and anxiety over the future in a positive way?Join us this Tuesday, March 19, and we will show you how you and us can give our Latino teenagers that much needed support. Bring your memories and embark with us on this journey down memory lane. Let’s remember our teenage years and hear from young men and women who have benefited from Renovacion Conyugal’s youth workshops. Together we can make a big difference on hundreds of Latino families. All profits will go towards Renovación Juvenil, a workshop that gives practical tools to Latino teenagers to have a better communication not only with their parents, but also with other people in their family environment. The participants are offered ideas on how to resist peer pressure, steer clear of the use of drugs and alcohol, avoid falling into the pressures of gangs, and prevent premature pregnancies, all while helping them adapt to living in a dual culture.
$25 (Includes Dinner and a cocktail) 25.00
