Each year, The Craft Show Preview Party offers guests the opportunity to browse the show while enjoying live entertainment, delicious cocktails, and tasty hors d’oeuvres before the Craft Show opens to the public. The evening benefits the Hambidge Center and the American Craft Council and includes hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, live entertainment, the opportunity to meet the 225 American Craft Council participating artists, and best of all – a chance to purchase their works ahead of the crowds. Co-chaired by Carr McCuison, Mike Wright, Dorothy Kirkley and Deborah Sudbury along with Patrons Jim Hackney and Barbara Waldman, the Preview Party will offer a first look at what Atlanta’s top designers have put together as the newest component to the Show: “Make Room: Modern Design meets Craft.” Preview Party guests will personally get a chance to meet these designers who will have transformed the Craft Show into a show-stopping setting of room designs using treasured objects from the Craft Show. www.hambidge.org www.craftcouncil.org/atlanta $75 in advance, $85 at the door; includes a VIP ticket to return to the show on public days.
