This class is for 5-6 year olds. Beginning ballet is an introduction to ballet, using methods designed for young minds and bodies. Students begin to work on body alignment and posture as well as development of the feet and turnout. The class introduces fundamental skills and concepts of dance movement and ballet. Students learn flexibility, body awareness and musicality through exercises and imaginative play.
For continuity and in preparation for the Spring Recital , when enrolling in dance classes all students should enroll in the same class each session (Fall, Winter and Spring). xml version='1.0' encoding='%SOUP-ENCODING%'
