Professor Moon, presents "Our Forgotten History: The History of Asians and Asian Americans in the American Entertainment Industry, 1880s-1920s" Abstract: Despite the prominence of Yellowface in most portrayals of persons of Asian descent in the American entertainment industry, Asians and Asian Americans can be found performing in a variety of venues during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Co-sponsored by the School of History, Technology & Society and the School of Literature, Media & Communication, Ivan Allen College
