A Titus Man presents “Food 4 Life”. We are partnering up with Miller's City Farms for their 2013 Farm Club CSA Membership. This event will introduce youth males ages 10 -15 to farming (We ONLY HAVE 3 OPENINGS). They will learn basic techniques to growing and producing their own fruits and vegetables. During the session the students will be encouraged to be the best they can be while forming relationships with their peers and members of the community to create a sense of team work. Our goal in bringing youth together is not only to teach them various valuable life skills, but also to teach them the importance of unity and working together in a positive manner with their peers. We believe that our programs will also reduce the amount of bullying, violence and encourage young people to support one another in order to achieve even greater success. This is a free event. The event will be held on Saturday Feburary 16, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at Miller's City Farm in Atlanta GA (Lunch will be served). This is the first session for this series. This is a 12 weeks course and at the end of the project participants will be awarded a certificate of completion. Our organization and programs are here to serve youth males that are underprivileged or at risk. Lunch will be served. All participants must have work boots and gloves.
