Social Media Media Breakfast Atlanta was founded in June of 2009 by Lane Bailey and Ken Cook after Lane was introduced to it by a mutual acquaintance from the Midwest. Social Media Breakfast was founded by Bryan Person who helps (and allows) it to spread to other areas across the nation and across the world.Our inaugural meeting was on July 23rd, 2009 at the Duluth Diner in Duluth (North Metro Atlanta) Georgia with 20 people in attendance.We hold events in multiple areas of Atlanta including Suwanee/Gwinnett and Kennesaw/Cobb.  Events are held each month, and each month features a different topic, each revolving around the business applications of social media and its associated technologies.  It is also a great opportunity to network with other 'tech forward' business owners and entrepreneurs. The events are currently held on the  4th Thursday in Gwinnett/Suwanee.  We gather from about 9:00am until about 9:20 or so.  After introductions, the program generally runs about 30-40 minutes.  There is a little networking afterwards, and by 10:30am we can be heading back to work. The map shown has our location a little off.  Atlanta Bread Company is actually right on the corner of Satellite Blvd and Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd.
