Log In  Back To Current Exhibitions    Friday, February 15, 2013 from 7 to 10 pm Runs through March 30, 2013 Mason Murer is pleased to announce our first show of 2013, opening on Friday, February 15. Our February show will open with The Gees Bend Experience: Quilts from Tinnie, Minnie, and Claudia Pettway. Fiber artist Marquetta Johnson will also be showing her colorful, hand-died quilts. Several painters will round out our February Exhibition. Drawing on the Unexpected: Works from Asheville Artists, curated by Julyan Davis will be accompanied by new works from Davis. We are also introducing painters Ernesto Torres and Stephen Bach. In addition we will have new works from Frank Hyder, Ashley Surber, Terry Turrell, a selection of Herbert Creecy paintings, and Mark Karelson’s new body of work, Originem. The show will open with an artist’s reception on Friday, February 15 from 7 to 10 pm and will run through March 30, 2013.
