Most Jews and Christians would be surprised to learn just how thoroughly Jewish Jesus was, and how his Jewishness permeates the New Testament. In this class we will study The New Testament through a Jewish lens, and learn about the intertwined histories of Judaism and Christianity, how the two traditions came to a parting of the ways, why the Jews rejected Jesus, and how we can use our new knowledge to strengthen interfaith relations.
