Adobe InDesign is software primarily used by designers and graphic production artists for layout of publications, posters, and print media. It can be used to create things such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books. Get some hands on time with this professional software!
In this essentials workshop we will familiarize you with the interface while going over some of the basic tools necessary to create a poster or brochure. Topics may include working with text, text wrap on images, document setup, alignment, and importing images and text . The instructor will provide students with templates for practice outside of class.Look for the follow up Indesign- Epub class on April 3rd!
These classes are open to everyone : undergrad, grad, faculty and staff
Workshops are usually held in the Homer Rice Center , 2nd floor of the library, near Maps and Special Formats.- behind the elevators. Updates on the class will be sent to the email you provided on your registration form. The classes are free and they are walk in. Priority is given to those who are registered and are Georgia Tech affiliated, but classes are open to the general public on first come first serve basis as space permits.
