Co-Hosted by Rickey Smiley and Essence Atkins the 2013 Trumpet Awards Ceremony will be a star studded evening. Performances by Avant, Raheem DeVaughn, Fantasia, Melanie Fiona, Anthony Hamilton, Linda Herring, Luke James, Tamela Mann, R&B Divas and Tyrese. Celebrity presenters include Patrick Ewing, Dick Gregory, Steve Harvey, Derek Luke, David Mann, Eva Marcille, Roland Martin, Melvin Miller, Dr. Steve Perry, Jonathon Slocumb, Tika Sumpter. Honorees include Debra Martin Chase, Chaka Khan,  Alonzo and Tracy Mourning, Mayor Kasim Reed, Michael McMillan, Edward Welburn and Charlie Wilson.
