The IRC in Atlanta has officially adopted a section of North Indian Creek Drive in Clarkston – from Church Street to Clarkston High School – as well as the MARTA bus stop in front of the Clarkston Public Library. Members of the community are invited to join IRC Atlanta staff, volunteers and refugee clients to clean the one-mile stretch of road and beautify the MARTA bus stop, making the area comfortable and appealing for Clarkston residents. The event will take place on Monday, January 21 at 9 am, and we will meet in front of the Clarkston Public Library at 951 North Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston, GA 30021. The event is free and open to community volunteers. For more information, please email Atlanta@rescue.org or call 678-636-8929.
