DESIGN CONVERSATION Panel Discussion on Restaurant Design with John and Vivian Bencich of Square Feet Studio and the partners of Decatur’s newest restaurant, Kimball House Wednesday, February 20, 2013 Doors open at 6:00pm. Talk begins at 6:30pm Find out what goes into the creation of some of your favorite bars and restaurants as the South's Next Wave designers John and Vivian Bencich of Square Feet Studio talk about the design of Kimball House in Decatur - the newest venture by the owners of Leon's Full Service and Brick Store Pub. The seven partners of Kimball House will join John and Vivian for a lively discussion about the different roles that people, product and place play in a successful drinking and dining experience. They'll dive into the unique challenges and circumstances they've come across in the design of restaurants such as Barcelona Wine Bar, Abattoir and The General Muir as well as their current work on the Decatur Depot in transforming it into Kimball House. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, teachers and military, and $5 for students and children over 5. Members are free and drinks are complimentary.
