Krav Maga is the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces, and has been taught to hundreds of law enforcement agencies and thousands of civilians in the United States. Krav Maga is a simple, effective self defense system that emphasizes instinctive movements, practical techniques, and realistic training scenarios.Instructor Michael Beyo, mastered Krav Maga when he served for a Special Unit of the State of Israel under the Israeli Prime Minister in charge of counter-terrorism. Classes will be held on 5/30, 6/6, 6/13, 6/20, 6/27, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25 and 8/1 (no class on 7/4). This is an invitational class that meets twice a week. Ballet is Monday at 4:30 Jazz & Tap Combo is Wednesday at 4:30 This class incorporates ballet barre work, technique, and strengthening exercises. Students also learn jazz technique, terminology, and movement quality with an emphasis on proper execution of jazz isolations, rhythms, and style.
