Swim year-round at the MJCCA and gain stroke technique, endurance, speed, knowledge and much more. The Zaban Sharks are a competitive swim team that is ideal for all levels of swimmers. The Zaban Sharks Year-Round Swim Team participates in the Georgia Swimming Branch of the USA Swimming Association. Along with attending USA Swimming meets, we host our own internal time trials, practice hard, play pool games and host parties to celebrate our swimmers?€? hard work. All of our coaches are USA Swimming Certified and/or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certified. Bronze Group Practice Times: Mondays - Thursdays 4:30pm - 5:00pm The Bronze Group is dedicated to helping swimmers achieve legal strokes, starts, and turns in all four strokes. This group swims minimal yardage as the main focus of every practice is helping swimmers to understand the fundamentals of each stroke. To begin swimming with the Bronze Group, a swimmer must be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle without stopping and must have a basic (not necessarily legal)understanding of all four strokes. Bronze group swimmers are invited and encouraged to participate in swim meets, but are not required to do so. It is suggested that Bronze swimmers attend practice as frequently as possible, but there is no attendance requirement.
