Swim year-round at the MJCCA and gain stroke technique, endurance, speed, knowledge and much more. The Zaban Sharks are a competitive swim team that is ideal for all levels of swimmers. The Zaban Sharks Year-Round Swim Team participates in the Georgia Swimming Branch of the USA Swimming Association. Along with attending USA Swimming meets, we host our own internal time trials, practice hard, play pool games and host parties to celebrate our swimmers?€? hard work. All of our coaches are USA Swimming Certified and/or Water Safety Instructor (WSI) Certified. Silver Group Practice Times: Mondays - Thursdays 5:00pm - 6:00pm Fridays 4:30pm - 5:30pm The Silver Group continues to hone stroke technique by completing drills and receiving specific stroke instruction. Swimmers learn how to swim on intervals by using the pace clock and also begin to complete more yardage, while also focusing on stroke consistency. Silver swimmers are legal in all four strokes, starts, and turns, and begin to have a competitive swimming focus. This group is a gentle bridge between Bronze and Gold. Silver Group swimmers should attend practice 2 to 5 times a week.
