"Exposing Minds, Not Bodies" is the slogan of The Miss Black Collegiate USA Scholarship Pageant a scholarship pageant for girls of African decent between the ages of 18-23 created to encourage young women to "stay the course" while in pursuit of their dreams, goals and aspirations. The Miss Black Collegiate USA Scholarship Pageant takes place in Atlanta, Georgia from October 26 - 28 at the luxurious Twelve Hotel Atlantic Station. The Pageant weekend will kick off with a Launch Party the evening of Friday, October 26. The Crowning Ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 27. The Purple Carpet will start at 5pm with the VIP reception immediately following. On Sunday, October 28 there will be a post press brunch which begins at 10am. Our target audience for the Miss Black Collegiate USA Scholarship PageantTM are individuals, families, business owners, organizations and mentors who are passionate about contributing to the overall success of our youth and creating pathways toward their bright futures. This inaugural event boasts of world renowned sponsors such as Iman Cosmetics, Macys Bridal Salon by Demetrios, R. J. Graziano Jewelers, African American Artist, Curtis James and others. The Contestants hail from as far as California, Michigan, Texas and other parts of the country. They are pursuing career goals such as lawyers, engineers and a wealth of other professions.
