We wanted to capture excitement and intensity within our songs, so keeping things foundational and tight was important. We spent the time searching for solid riffs and pocket, writing songs with interesting changes” says Bobbie Sullinger (Vocals, Guitars). SAVING THE FOX cites bands such as LOCAL H and the TOADIES as being formative to their sound. Band members Bobbie Sullinger and Andy Carlyle (Drums, Keys, EFX) co-wrote, recorded, mixed and produced the album in their home studio above a garage in Midtown Atlanta, with mastering by Glenn Schick of GSMastering. “We poured ourselves into the making of this album, crafting and recording songs as well as we could on our own. We are proud of the results and hope it will give light to everyone who listens to it” says Andy Carlyle. During the recording of “Just Like You”, SAVING THE FOX tapped into a strong network of friends that included Chip Dillard of LEFT FRONT TIRE who contributed on three tracks in the release. $6/adv., $10/day of show
