Gary Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band will perform a concert on Saturday November 3rd at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta. The concert formally kicks off fundraising efforts to build “smart homes” for local heroes Army SFC Michael Schlitz and Marine Cpl. Todd Love.
Proceeds will go towards building hi-tech homes for Schlitz and Love to maximize their ability to lead independent lives. Love, from Acworth, GA, lost both legs and his left arm as a result of an IED explosion in Afghanistan. Schlitz, from Columbus, GA, was burned over 85% of his body and lost two limbs and the eyesight in his left eye when two artillery shells exploded nearby during his service in Iraq.
Sinise and his Lt. Dan Band will rock the house with hits from the likes of The Police, Earth, Wind and Fire, Charlie Daniels, Aretha Franklin and Adele. This concert is the latest in a series of performances resulting from a partnership between the Gary Sinise Foundation and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Ticket prices range from $39.50 (General Admission) to $150.00 (VIP).
