Commercial, Industrial and Institutional (CII) sectors make up almost 30% of the total water use in the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District (Metro Water District).  Commercial water audits can provide an accurate assessment of use and provide recommendations for improved efficiency.  The District is pleased to offer a commercial water audit workshop for cities and counties.  Mr. Bill Hoffman with Water Management, Inc. is a leading expert on water use and water conservation in CII sectors, and will lead this program.  The goal of this workshop is for water providers to be able to conduct water audits and provide recommendations for cost-beneficial water conservation measures in the commercial sectors. This workshop will consist of one classroom day on August 1st, 2012 at The Loudermilk Center in Atlanta from 8:00 a.m to 4 p.m. and one facilities walk-through water audit on either August 2nd or August 3rd.  Participants may choose between the following dates and locations for the walk-through water audit:   Cobb County on August 2rd from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Clayton County on August 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m Lunch will be provided.
